Feminine Rising Takes Silver as 2019 Indie Book of the Year in Women's Studies
Updated: Sep 11, 2020
Feminine Rising: Voices of Power & Invisibility, a book of women's true stories told in essay and poetry, features 70 women from all over the US and 12 nations. Yesterday, this important book I curated with my dear friend, Lara Lillibridge, won an unexpected award. For Foreword Review’s 2019 Indie Book of the Year in women’s studies, we took the Silver. Oxford University Press took the bronze. What an honor to be among such fine presses.
